Remove Facebook Reels from your browser

Short answer: Marketplace Focus can hide or reduce Reels entry points and block Reels pages while you browse Facebook in a supported browser.

What "remove" means

Marketplace Focus does not modify Facebook's servers or your Facebook account. It runs in your browser and changes what happens on facebook.com pages while the extension is enabled.

In practice, "remove" means hiding Reels entry points where the extension can detect them and redirecting Reels pages when Strict Focus Mode is active.

Reels pages vs Reels entry points

Reels pages

These are direct Reels destinations. Strict Focus Mode can redirect them away from the Reels surface.

Reels entry points

These include buttons, links, cards, and modules that lead into Reels. Marketplace Focus hides or reduces common entry points.

How the extension works locally

The extension runs locally in your browser on facebook.com. Your settings, including blocking mode, pause duration, schedules, Hard Lock, and exceptions, are stored locally in browser storage.

No account is required, and Marketplace Focus does not use analytics, tracking pixels, remote logging, or data selling.

Limitations

Facebook can change its interface. When that happens, some Reels entry points may need extension updates before they are detected reliably again.

Marketplace Focus is independent and is not affiliated with Meta or Facebook.
